About us

We offer prospects in the countries of origin – a more humane, dignified and less expensive solution than welfare in Switzerland.

Reintegration in the country of origin

The association promotes the reintegration of people who live in Switzerland without a permanent residence permit and wish to return voluntarily to their country of origin.

It was founded in 2004 on the initiative of two former directors of the Office for Refugees (now State Secretariat for Migration) Jean-Daniel Gerber and Peter Arbenz as well as Rolf Widmer, then Director of the International Social Service – Switzerland (SSI).

The association is contractually linked to SSI, which accompanies and supervises the projects. It attaches great importance to a fast and administratively simple procedure and to an individual analysis of the success or failure of each project.

First, we check the project itself. Second, we check its conformity to the market requirements in the context of the country of origin, as well as the personal and professional skills of the beneficiary. And third, we look at whether it is feasible with the means at our disposal.
